Resilient Warwick Food Pantry Support Fund
Matching Funds are Available!
In response to the great need for supporting food pantries during the pandemic, Sustainable Warwick and Community2gether have launched the Warwick Food Pantry Support Fund. We are seeking donations to the fund and have set aside $5,000 to match any new contributions.
The funds will be distributed to five local food pantries, as shown in the chart below. All of these food pantries participate in the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, which provided data on the number of meals these food pantries typically serve on a monthly basis. Those numbers helped us decide the fairest way to distribute our support to the food pantries.

At this time it is especially important for the food pantries to receive monetary contributions. Social distancing requirements mean food pantries have to be especially careful with donations in kind. Moreover, with cash they can acquire large amounts of food fairly inexpensively through the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and other connections. And with our matching funds, your donation will have double the impact!
